Kim is an experienced consultant and trainer who consistently receives rave reviews from her clients. She is known for her fun, dynamic and interactive training style, and brings a sophisticated but down-to-earth approach to her delivery.

As an educator and manager with more than 25 years experience in instructional design and training delivery, Kim has a wealth of experience and knowledge. She has delivered hundreds of training sessions in a variety of topic areas including leadership, effective communication, teambuilding, conflict management, performance management, supervisory skills, instructional design, and train the trainer.

From June 2007 – November 2009, Kim worked as the Director, Government Programs, at the University of Alberta where she was responsible for Executive Education for public administrators. In this role she worked closely with national and provincial governments to meet the leadership needs of managers and executives. Her other work experience includes Senior Advisor of Staff Learning and Development, Organizational Development Consultant and Coordinator Instructional Development at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Kim has presented at a variety of colleges and universities.

Kim’s international experience includes training designed for and delivered in Cuba, the Ukraine and Argentina. In 2004 Kim travelled to Mexico to work for Habitat for Humanity on the Jimmy Carter Work Project. She also regularly teaches international groups in Canada.

Kim’s most recent clients have included the University of Alberta, FINNING Canada, and the Manufacturers’ Health and Safety Association, EPCOR, ATCO Electric, CEDA International, Alberta Motor Association, Edmonton Humane Society, St. Albert Botanic Gardens.

Kim has a Bachelors degree in Adult Education from the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and a Masters Degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She possesses several facilitation and international training programme certifications, and is a certified MBTI practitioner.
